DJ Fokus and crew
Finally I made it to one of Saxon'r gigs on tim,e enough to see him spit it. Very impressed with his flow. Pity about the mix at times, lead vocals a little hard to hear above the rest of the crew. But definetly going places. Heaps of people I hadn't seen for years and years like Mark, don't know his last name, James Drapac and evn Trent who I hadn't seen since his trip. Bit of a trip for me. Too wrecked form the night before at Soak and having to work all day though so I couldn't stand a big one. Thanks for looking out for the family though cuz.
Liz and Gardsy's
A night of drunken deabauchery to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Elizabeth Iris Armstrong and Shay Olivia Gardner began with a very civilized pre dinks and dinner at Eri and Mont's house. After Kate spending an hour curling Eri's hair, probably the same time figuring out an outfit for myself centreing around my new floral gumboots and Mark arriving with Moo Goo and dim sims, we sat down to a beautiful feast of gourmet tofu soup. That's right tofu, we are hippys and proud of it. (Eri reckons it's tofu though that gives her bad burps.)
As usual I had to work the next day, and so did Kate so we made a pact to look out for each other and make sure the soda was flowing freely- between vodkas. But that plan went a little astray and, under the influence of everyone around us being absoloutely wasted there wasn't that much soda involved, but plenty of vodka. Unfortunately this means there were only a few photos taken around the start of the evening and the camera forgotten after that. Apparently Ev has more though so check out http://photos.dumbcomputers.net . I think thats right anyway.
Only Liz could have gotten away with a Britney poster on the wall of soak and then her own special mix cd complete with multiple Britney tracks and plenty of ass shakin' tunes. But we weren't allowed to have it playing down stairs resulting in the random jumping up to boogie from the booths. Everything turned out ok for me, what with leaving early via my chauffeur for the evening, but I'm not sure it was so pretty for those others involved.

Pirate Blog
For more piratey pics check out http://aprilstripystockings.blogspot.com . She's a pirate I met a while back on the rivers of the Prom.
Here you go Kate. I told you you would be on here. This was taken the last time we went out for cups of tea before Kate left for Bendigo. So many of my friends are going back to school, and so many of them doing teaching. The kids of the future are lucky to have cool people who care about them and their education.

My pirate name is:
Dirty Ethel Flint
You're the pirate everyone else wants to throw in the ocean -- not to get rid of you, you understand; just to get rid of the smell. Like the rock flint, you're hard and sharp. But, also like flint, you're easily chipped, and sparky. Arr!
Get your own pirate name from fidius.org.
