C'mon! Posted by Hello
Ah patriotism. It really can be a wonderful thing. We made our way to Fed square to watch Lleyton on the big screen. It was so exciting. The atmosphere was just fantastic. The photographers loved Chris and Daisy, I think they took direction well. We'll have to wait and see if any of them get published though. After that result they may go with pictured of those damned Russians. Posted by Hello

Australia Day

So hot right now! Australia Day was so hot. Bbqs all round and Triple J's Hottest 100, not to mention the cliff hanger of two incredible Aussie Open matches. But man was it hot. This detox thing nearly killed me. Nothing would have satisfied like a nice cold brew. But I stuck with my water and juices. It really is tough work being healthy. It's all for a good cause though- so I can waste it again at the prom in a couple of weeks. No. 1 on the hottest 100..... Franz Ferdinand- take me out. Such a suprise! I picked it as soon as the voting was announced. But I get the feeling most people did. It had double the votes of the no.2 song Missy Higgins.

Was great to see Tess back from her adventures in Borneo. She thought the weather was great 'cos she wasn't dripping with sweat. Maggie's back from around the place as well, so happy and tanned and full of stories.

I hope you guys os celebrated in a fittingly Australian way.

THE PROM- oh yeah!

The Prom. It really was awesome. Even though you remember it as good it always exceeds expectations every time you go back. For some reason the water was warm and so were the nights. No need for seventies ski wear unfortunately. Went more for the relaxing option for the week. Walks to squeaky and fairy cove were as much as I could muster. And much to Liz's disgust a bit of the old early morning yoga on the beach. I don't know how you guys who are away could stand to miss the Australian summer, as fun as it must be elsewhere, nothing beats it. It was odd though that we didn't have the usual other camps to visit. We managed to make our own fun though what with the clicking of the tongues, vikings, settlers and 500,Prom night live and Liz.......well she speaks for herself. "Everybody's doing it!" Hope everyone is enjoying the summer or winter wherever you are. I miss you guys who aren't here. It's so hot right now. Word.

Bye guys

Mel and Dalm are gone, gone, gone and I miss them both terribly. Very sad at the airport. Too depressed to go pick up random new friends in arrivals, maybe next time. I hope they don't get too frozen in their winter travels.
On the other side of the globe it's still summer and you know what that means ......................THE PROM! YAY. Leaving tomorrow and word on the street is that it's going to get hot again. But maybe that's just 'cos I'm arriving. Bought a new digital camera today so I'll keep you posted on our "sunshine and lollipops tour."

No saying no for Dalm and Mel Posted by Hello
